Services
Our skilled team prioritizes safety, respect, and empowerment in every interaction, creating an environment that supports shared decision making. We believe in the importance of families having the autonomy to make informed decisions about their pregnancy, birth, and baby. Our goal is to provide care that honors the unique needs and desires of each family we serve.
Prenatal Care
Midwifery care is a holistic approach to childbirth that focuses on the physical, emotional, and social needs of the mother and baby. It involves regular prenatal appointments where the midwife checks the maternal and fetal health through discussions about well-being and symptoms, as well as physical assessment, ultrasound, and lab work. These appointments are also a great opportunity to build a trusting relationship between the client and midwife. During these visits, the midwife will monitor the growth and development of the baby, check the mother's blood pressure, urine, and weight gain.
To ensure a healthy pregnancy, it is recommended to start prenatal care after conception but prenatal care begins when you desire, prenatal visits are scheduled every four weeks until 28 weeks, every two weeks until 36 weeks, and weekly until the baby is born.
